The Chudleys Gundog Championship has been a firm favourite at all of the Countryman Fairs events for many years, and with the competition kick-starting at Easter’s Kelmarsh Country Show, we can’t wait to see all the action unfold at this May’s Broadlands Country Show too.

Set in the historic Hampshire estate, the Broadlands Country Show has a superb line-up of family fun in store including all the action from inside the Chudleys Gundog Championship. Hosting the 3rd and 4th rounds in the popular competition, handlers and their dogs at Broadlands will be able to compete for the 2019 title and of course the superb £2000 cash prize too.

Taking place over the first May Bank Holiday, the Chudleys Gundog Championship includes popular favourites such as Up ‘n’ Over, Long Retrieve, Short Fence, Duck Distraction, Pick ‘n’ Mix as well as the Working Test and the all new Junior Working Test, where handlers and gundogs will be put through a series of challenging trials and tasks.

Qualifiers from this year’s Broadlands Country Show will go head to head with other finalists at the Midland Game Fair’s Grand Final in September, with the titleholder awarded £2,000 cash, an engraved trophy and rosette.

The next qualifying rounds in the Chudleys Gundog Championship will take place at the Broadlands Country Show over 5th and 6th May. To get involved in all of the action this season, just turn up and sign up, it really is that simple! If you book your tickets in advance too, you can save, click here for more information.
